Re-Consider
Project
The inspiration for this project was based on my dissertation on how recycling and reusing fashion garments reduce consumer waste by promoting sustainable solutions. I sourced all my deadstock denim from a local company in Manchester who didn't want their samples and fabric swatches to go to waste in a landfill.

While lockdown has changed how my university studio access has changed I was still able to work remote from home creating a patchwork puffer jacket from all the deadstock denim I received. All fabric and trim choices I selected were sustainable and beneficial to the environment, such as using old bedding for insulation and an unused blanket for the lining.
Below is my specification pack for my puffer jacket
Below are my portfolio boards which are a condensed version of all my work going up to my final line up.
