COATS X GRADUATE FASHION FOUNDATION SUSTAINABILITY COMPETITION 2021

The brief for the coats x graduate fashion foundation was to up-cycle an exciting garment by creating some new using stitching as the main design feature. For this brief I settled on creating something new from old shirts my dad does not use anymore, after washing the shirts I began my exploring my initial concept through research. My aim on finishing this project was to re-imagine workwear by recycling old and unused mens work shirts, stitching being a key part of the brief i know work wear has mainly top stitching but that's where the market is at a loss.
